The UK Green Film Festival is coming to a cinema near you!

The UK green film festival is an annual film festival dedicated to the enivornment. The festival is held at various cinemas around the UK and screens films that are focused around current environmental issues.

The purpose of the films are to educate and help inspire people to become more green friendly. The festival is in its second year and this year the venues include:
Altrincham – Altrincham apollo
Birmingam – Birmingham film cooperative
Cambridge – Cambridge picturehouse
Cardiff – Cardiff chapter arts
Glawgow – Glasgow film theatre
Inverness – Eden court
Leeds – Hyde Park picture house
Leicester – Phoenix square
London – Shortwave bermondsey, Greenwich picturehouse
Newcastle – Tyneside cinema
Nottingham – Broadway cinema
York – City screen picturehouse

The top green films to come out of the festivals will receive awards from the festival. Here at greencares we wish luck to all those involved and say a big thanks for creating more green awareness in the World.
